Hi, I'm Justin Carras - an Investment Advisor Representative based in Ohio with a passion for helping people feel confident about their money. I got my start at Vanguard, in Charlotte North Carolina, where I built a strong foundation in client-focused investing and retirement planning. Over time, I realized I wanted more flexibility to serve clients on a more personal level - so I branched out on my own with Transamerica Financial Advisors. That move gave me the freedom to offer solutions that aren't one-size-fits-all because your investments shouldn't be stuck in a box.
I'm proud to hold both the CRPS (Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist) and CRPC (Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor) designations, which help me better serve clients as they plan for their future.
When I'm not talking strategy or building financial roadmaps, you can probably find me lifting weights, exploring new wines, or hanging out with my partner, Natalie, and our two pups, Hutch and Murphy. Life is about balance - and I try to bring that mindset to both my personal life and the work I do with clients every day.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Alec graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Fisher College of Business. While studying in the OSU business program, Alec spent his summers building experience in the financial service industry with internships at Morgan Stanley and other prominent alternative asset management firms. Post graduation, 5 years ago, Alec began his career as an Investment Advisor Representative at Transamerica Financial Advisors, where he focuses his efforts on meeting clients' long-term wealth management and insurance needs.
Alec believes it is crucial to meet with clients and understand both their short-term and long-term investment goals and objectives before providing any financial advice.

I grew up in Tiffin, Ohio, and if you had told me back then that I’d spend my career in financial services, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But here I am, more than a decade in, and what’s kept me hooked is simple: helping people feel confident about their money. Too often, financial services get wrapped up in jargon and complexity. I’ve made it my mission to cut through all that and make it approachable—something that actually makes sense for real people, no matter where they’re starting from.
For me, it’s not just about the numbers. It’s about taking the time to listen, understand what really matters to you, and then creating a strategy that supports those goals.
Outside the office, life looks a little different. In the winter, you’ll find me on the ice playing hockey, and when the weather warms up, I’m usually off-road on my motorcycle, chasing new trails. Some of my favorite moments are at home, though—making music with my ten-year-old son or sitting around the table for a board game night with the whole family.
